Ivo Hoogveld

He lost his mind long ago, somewhere between The Netherlands and Portugal. He doesn't remember what happened.

Hoping that someone may have found and kept it inside a music box, he wishes it back as a birthday present.

Today he daydreams about indians, colored pencils, supernovae and good hearts. Also carries in the belly afternoons of drawing, three elephants that he has to feed and a circus life.

Sleepwalking and fearless, he spends hours researching the memory, contemplating and trying to find hidden things in the ether. Along the way he notes melodies, mazes of weird and colorful things. Many lines made of light and patterns that tell stories that connect people and moments.

It's strange, but there everything burns quickly.

Some of his drawings can be viewed, reviewed, some forgotten and other saved religiously.
