Sílvia Rodrigues
She was born in the Eighties, she learnt her Maths with her grandfather and her alphabet in the french school. She grew up with her grandmother’s stories, she played in the countryside and on the street. Later, she got tired of scratching her parents’ walls and wanted to become a lion tamer. But faith played with her and she saw herself get in the convent to study Communication Design. She discovered her passion for comic books and illustration on the hill of S. Jorge’s Castle, associated with Chili Com Carne and participated in several books and fanzines. She also illustrated for magazines and for a children’s book. She exhibits regularly.
