Ana Areias aka Ana Types Type

Ana Areias (Porto, 1989) graduated in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (FBAUP) in 2011. She began her professional career in the same year as an independent graphic designer, seeking since then to expand her practice to other creative areas. Throughout her professional experience, she has collaborated on several national and international projects, among which her work as art director, editorial projects, illustrations, visual identities, textile pieces, packaging, and bespoke graphics for TV stand out.

She is the co-founder of Madre (2016), a laboratory that experiments with materials, shapes, and techniques for producing objects.
