Catarina Oscarina

She never really knew what she wanted to be but she always loved to draw which led Catarina Ribeiro (aka Catarina Oscarina) to the Faculty of Fine Arts in Porto where she started studying Communication Design in 2016. Later she moved to Lisbon to work in an agency until she decided to become a freelance designer while also dedicating herself to exploring her taste for design. It is between the shapes of the human body and nature that she finds her inspiration, but also in the combination of happy memories that the village where she grew up provided her. Today, these memories give way to a solo exhibition that reminds us of the times when playing in the street, inventing games and picking flowers from the garden gave our life a different scent. Catarina is a designer but has never abandoned the illustration bug, having already participated in several collective exhibitions and collaborated with some brands.
