Elsa Navarro
She has a degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, where she completed her Masters in Graphic Design and Editorial Projects. It was distinguished with the Eng.º António de Almeida Award for the highest course average.
She has been illustrating for children for two decades, coloring the words of some of the most outstanding Portuguese writers. Her books are published in Portugal, Brazil and Colombia and many are selected for the Portuguese and Brazilian NLP. Selected for EUROTOOLBOX 2010, Children’s Book Exhibition at Barbican Library, London; in 2012 and 2014 she received a Merit Award at the Hiii Illustration 2012 International Competition.
