Gabriela Araujo is an illustration and animation artist living and working in Porto. She tends to focus on the tiny details of daily life. Having worked in the social impact industry for the past few years, her work is usually a mix between what is fun to do and what is important to talk about. In 2021, she was one of the winners of both “Sardinhas” from EGEAC, and Poster Mostra competitions; she also won the “Inspira x Ó Gallery” contest. In addition, she got an honorable mention for the children’s literature prize of Pingo Doce. In 2022 she continued participating in exhibitions and made a solo one where she launched the self-published book “The Pregnant is everyone’s”. She believes that the secret to happiness relies on a good laugh.
