Sara Louise Tucker is an east coast based illustrator and artist. she is mostly self-taught, but also did an illustration course at art center college in Pasadena, California. She has participated in several group shows: LACMA, Los Angeles; Independend Drawing Gig, Lithuania; Drawgasmic, St. Louis; Barrister's Gallery, Los Angles; Golden Bell Arts Complex, North Carolina, among others. she spends half the year in Lisbon and has had solo shows at Ó! Galeria, Porto and Balneário, LX Factory, Lisbon. Her work focuses on nostalgic imagery from the 60s and 70s and iconic characters that graphically represent our contemporary subliminal culture and attitudes.
