Tomás Olivos

Tomás Olivos (1987, Chile).
Independent illustrator and designer. He has published books with publishers and research centers in Chile and Argentina. His works have received the Alija IBBY Award (Argentina), the Colibrí IBBY Medal (Chile), the Cuatrogatos Foundation Award (United States), have been selected for the international exhibition of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, and have also been included in the catalogs of Iberoamérica Ilustra (Guadalajara, Mexico) and BCBF (Bologna, Italy). He studied Design at Diego Portales University (Santiago, Chile), completed a postgraduate program in Textile Art at Escola Massana (Barcelona, Spain), and participated in the artist-in-residence programs at Fundación Mar Adentro (Pucón, Chile) and La Volta (Girona, Spain). He has exhibited his work in Chile, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Italy, Japan, and Taiwan.
